Innvolution Healthcare Pvt. Ltd.

The company is an existing medical equipment manufacturer since 2011. Their Project Shwaas (A full ICU ventilator) has been developed in close partnership with IIT Bombay (Betic). The ventilator is in advanced stages of development. A prototype would be available by end of April, 2020. Innvolution has developed the ventilator as part of a tender for Hindustan Latex Limited and have secured an order from Andhra Government.
About The Program

About the program

COVID-19 pandemic has raised a dire need for ventilators to take care of the growing number of patients. There is an extreme shortage of ventilators and those available are very expensive for mass adoption. MG Motor India is committed to fight this pandemic and we want to do our bit. MG invites applications from developers for an affordable and quick-to-produce ventilator design to serve the patients of COVID-19. A select team of experts from the medical fraternity shall evaluate the designs. The winner shall receive a grant of up to Rs. 10 lakhs from MG Motor India to develop the proposed ventilator. MG Motor India would use the winning design to produce these ventilators at their plant.

  1. Grant of Rs. 10 lakhs for developing the project 
  2. Evaluation by team of experts
  3. Testing facility at our labs
  4. Production feasibility by our panel of engineers 
  5. Regulatory assistance with necessary approvals
  6. Production of the winning design at the MG plant at Halol
