Akhil Jayaprakash is the Co-Founder & CEO of Pulse Energy, India’s largest connected EV charging network with 20,000+ chargers on its platform. Backed by Peak XV Partners (formerly Sequoia India), AdvantEdge and Antler, Pulse Energy provides charger management software, roaming-hub-as-a-service, and fleet charging solutions to leading EV OEMs and fleet operators across India. Akhil is a core contributor to the Unified Energy Interface (UEI) — an open, Beckn Protocol-based interoperability standard for energy transactions endorsed by the Department of Science and Technology. He also serves on the India Energy Stack Taskforce. Before founding Pulse Energy, Akhil held product roles at Amazon (Next Billion Users) and Akamai, where he rose from pre-sales engineer to Senior Product Manager. He holds a degree from RMIT University and MIT Manipal.
