MG Motor India and Devnandan Gases increase production of medical oxygen by 31%

MG Motor India and Moksi-based Devnandan Gases Pvt. Ltd. have increased the production of medical oxygen by 31%; in less than a month of joining hands, surpassing the set target of production capacity increase of 25%. The vision is to increase it further to 50% in the near future. MG Motor India had partnered with Devnandan Gases to increase medical oxygen production on April 21, 2021.

MG Motor India has been focused on assisting the overall oxygen gas production. It will address specific areas of the manufacturing process such as infrastructure expansion and the elimination of major losses with lean principles. The process had helped in increasing the production capacity by 15% in one week.

Founded in 2011, Devnandan Gases Pvt Ltd. is one of the key medical oxygen gas producers of Vadodara. MG Motor India is focused on assisting the overall oxygen gas production. It will address specific areas of the manufacturing process such as infrastructure expansion and the elimination of major losses with lean principles.

Under its community service umbrella MG Sewa, the carmaker is doing various initiatives in these challenging times. Its Hector Ambulances continue to serve doctors and medical staff during their service to the nation. It recently also offered 200 beds for Covid-19 patients in Gurugram along with online platform Credihealth. MG Motor India along with its car owners in Pune city conducted a fund-raising initiative for Covid-19 affected across the region. The proceeds collected were used for obtaining biodegradable bedsheets for patients. The initiative has been supported and appreciated by Shri Ajit Pawar, Deputy Chief Minister, Maharashtra.
