Statement on the Recent MG Windsor Incident:

Following a technical assessment and physical inspection, and after reviewing the relevant data and reports, we analysed that the vehicle was on and kept in Drive mode, with the seatbelt engaged and the brake pedal not applied, when the driver exited.

In this situation, the car's designed Creep Mode allowed it to move forward at a controlled, low speed without the accelerator being pressed. Its movement was consistent with this feature, confirming that there was no product-related issue.

We are in close touch with the customer, extending our full support and helping him get familiar with the vehicle's features and correct usage, so that he can enjoy a safe and comfortable driving experience.
